Maori name Pewakawaka, The Black Fantail is more common in
the South Island but they are found in the North. A very friendly
little native to Aotearoa. Their aerial manoeuvres, all in the
pursuit of small insects are fascinating to watch. Also known as a
messenger in Maori Mythology.
